JORNADA 6 – Un cierre inolvidable
La sexta y última jornada del Mundial de Natación para Sordos Buenos Aires 2023 confirmó el talento y la capacidad de Carli Cronk, ganadora de 15 medallas en el torneo. La estadounidense Cronk se despidió con dos doradas: ganó los 200m libres con un tiempo de 2.08.25 y los 200m espalda con un registro de 2.23.99. Así, regresa a su país con 11 medallas doradas, 3 plateadas y 1 de bronce.
El japonés Ryutaro Ibara se impuso en los 200m mariposa con un registro de 2.05.68 y se colgó la medalla dorada por quinta vez en este Mundial. En esta prueba, Argentina logró su segundo podio de la mano de Emanuel Llano, quien finalizó en la tercera posición.
Ucrania, por su parte, festejó con Nakonechnyi en los 100m pecho (1.03.88), con Illia Sultanov en los 50m libres (23.19) y con el relevo combinado masculino en los 4×100 (3.51.14).
Además, Italia concluyó su actuación con dos podios: Federico Tamborrino festejó en los 1500m libres con un tiempo de 16.09.63 y en el relevo combinado femenino con un registro de 4.38.51
DAY 6 – An unforgettable closing
The sixth and final day of the 2023 World Swimming Championships for the Deaf confirmed the talent and ability of Carli Cronk, winner of 15 medals in the tournament. The American Cronk said goodbye with two gold medals: she won the 200m freestyle with a time of 2.08.25 and the 200m backstroke with a record of 2.23.99. Thus, she returns to her country with 11 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
Japan’s Ryutaro Ibara won the 200m butterfly with a record of 2.05.68 and won the gold medal for the fifth time at this World Championship. In this event, Argentina achieved its second podium by Emanuel Llano, who finished in third position.
Ukraine, for its part, celebrated with Nakonechnyi in the 100m chest (1.03.88), with Illia Sultanov in the 50m freestyle (23.19) and with the men’s combined relay in the 4×100 (3.51.14).
