JORNADA 5 – Ibara colecciona medallas
Ryutaro Ibara se subió al podio una vez más en el Mundial de Natación para Sordos Buenos Aires 2023, que se desarrolla en las instalaciones del Parque Olímpico Roca. En la quinta jornada de la competencia, el japonés ganó los 100m mariposa con un tiempo de 55.62 y obtuvo su quinta medalla en el torneo.
Carli Cronk, la gran figura del Mundial ganó dos medallas doradas en esta jornada y ya suma 12 en la competencia. La estadounidense se impuso en los 800m libres con un registro de 9.25.59 y luego festejó en los 4×100 Relevo Mixto con sus compañeros Pizzolato, Brooke Thompson y Samuel Kohm.
Zane Embrekte, de Letonia, festejó en los 50m libres con un tiempo de 27.01, mientras que la polaca Julia Magdalena Chmielewska ganó los 200m pecho con un registro de 2.43.00. Además, la italiana Sara Maragno se subió a lo más alto del podio en los 50m mariposa con un tiempo de 28.53.
En los 100m espalda, el triunfo quedó en manos de la estadounidense Brooke Thompson, en la prueba que la Diana Valentina quedó segunda y se llevó la máxima ovación del público al conquistar la primera medalla para Argentina.
DAY 5 – Ibara collects medals
Ryutaro Ibara took the podium once again at the 2023 World Deaf Swimming Championship in Buenos Aires, which takes place at the Parque Olímpico Roca. On the fifth day of the competition, the Japanese won the 100m butterfly with a time of 55.62 and took his fifth medal in the tournament.
