JORNADA 4 – Brasil festejó con Kabbach
En el cuarto día de competencia, Brasil consiguió subirse al podio por primera vez en este Mundial. Lo logró por el triunfo de Guilherme Kabbach, ganador en los 100m libres con un tiempo de 52.58.
La estadounidense Carli Cronk sigue imparable. Se impuso en los 400m combinados con un tiempo de 5.05.00 y en los 200m mariposa con un registro de 2.19.57 (Récord de Campeonato).
Además, el japonés Ryutaro Ibara ganó los 400m combinados con un tiempo de 4.32.51, mientras que el alemán Lars Kochman festejó en los 50m espalda (27.09). En la última prueba del día, Polonia se quedó con los 4x200m en Relevos Libres con el equipo conformado por Kacper Nowicki, Jacub Kramarczyk, Rafal Wojcik y Konrad Powroznik.
