JORNADA 3 – Cronk brilla en el Parque Roca
Carli Cronk, de 17 años, obtuvo tres medallas doradas en la tercera jornada del Mundial de Natación para Personas Sordas Buenos Aires 2023. La estadounidense se subió a lo más alto del podio en los 100m libres con un nuevo récord de campeonato (58.32). Luego, ganó los 50m espalda (30.64) y cerró su performance con victoria y récord (18.02.70) en los 1.500m.
Ucrania también consiguió tres doradas: Iryna Tereshchenko se impuso en los 100m pecho con un registro de 1.15.54, Oleksii Kolomiiets ganó en los 50m pecho con un tiempo de 28.60 y el Equipo de Relevo Combinado Mixto festejó en los 4x100m.
Además, el japonés Ryutaro Ibara se quedó con los 200m combinados con un tiempo de 2.05.77, mientras que Argentina vivió una jornada histórica ya que fue la primera vez en la historia que siete de sus integrantes participaron en la competencia en el mismo día.
DAY 3 – Cronk shines in Rock Park
Carli Cronk, 17, won three gold medals on the third day of the 2023 World Swimming Championships for the Deaf in Buenos Aires. The American climbed to the top of the podium in the 100m freestyle with a new championship record (58.32). Then, he won the 50m backstroke (30.64) and closed his performance with victory and record (18.02.70) in the 1,500m.
Ukraine also scored three gold medals: Iryna Tereshchenko won the 100m chest with a record of 1.15.54, Oleksii Kolomiiets won the 50m chest with a time of 28.60 and the Mixed Combined Relay Team celebrated in the 4x100m.
In addition, the Japanese Ryutaro Ibara kept the combined 200m with a time of 2.05.77, while Argentina experienced a historic day as it was the first time in history that seven of its members participated in the competition on the same day.
